Cool looking project!

There is a point on the video where the shooter checks his pistol, turning it left and right. What's that supposed to be and how do you control it?

More than checking the handgun, it's about the environment. I saw that during a real firing exercise while performing a Private Security course practice. I'm not so sure respecting it's practical use even on training; maybe as a way to distract the shooter before completing the Mozambique execution, and in order to make action a little more complex?
I basically control that with activating a free view mode with the specific key.
