What should our next game be?
At KillHouse Games, we have great ideas for our next game and know what we can bring to the table. But we wouldn’t be here without our fans’ support, so its time to ask you guys & gals – What should we be working on?

So does this have to do with Doorkickers? I already voted thinking it did.

Yes, it will be related. More or less depending on the type of game 🙂

Whatever KillHouse Games are planning, I know it’ll be good. I’m still confused but I’m not worried.

If you are going to ignore me about the level editor, I will love you again if you make a really good world war 2 game. It’s really hard to find this more recently and that really makes me sad…

Not going to ignore you 🙂
The level editor requires much more work than we first anticipated. For example it requires more memory than many mobile devices can deliver.
While some devices can run it just fine, for others we need to heavily optimize the editor in order to make it run…this requires a lot of work and we just didn’t have the time to do it between the other updates. It’s still on the TO DO list though…
There are also other updates we plan to do for Door Kickers, but we also need to start planning our next game, since we’ve been publishing (free) updates on Door Kickers since last October (for PC) and since this spring for mobile.

I think you sould focus on the level editor before starting a new project :/

The level editor is already present in the PC version, it’s just the handhelds that don’t have it.
Note that however the store description for the handheld versions DO NOT include a level editor, its just something we’d like to add if possible.

you should make a version of doorkickers were you play as the bad guys rather then the swat team.

just like josh i would want a similar game from the bad guys perspective, with weapon customization and maybe be able to instead of stars you get the money you rob or get for ransom and you start off with 2 or 3 guys and you have to hire more guys to do bigger missions.

Social multiplayer game but no freemium
Kind of MGSV system of base with attack/defend rounds

So? What did you guys come up with? This website seems as if it’s dead. We know why, but you gotta keep us updated, it’s why this is your development blog.

We promise we’ll keep it updated once we know something for sure 🙂
We have at least 3-4 ideas and we haven’t chosen one yet, working on it.

Imho the best possible game would be something akin to the party system of Jagged Alliance 2 or the like. Pick from a roster of characters and if someone wants to play with you just allocate control of part of your roster to them. Alternatively, the R6/Ghost Recon method of co-op PVE with the opportunity to fill slots with bots would be a good choice as well, both are strongly SP focused but with versatility to work well in a co-op setting.

A Door Kickers-like game where there is an MP turn-based “we-go” mode. Like Frozen Synapse!

Maybe do a game (or Mod pack) where you are the criminals.
An example level could be robbing a bank and demanding ransom money.
With the money people can buy weapons and better armour. (Start off with Junkie Harry and end up with one of the best like Businesslike Ben)
(I gave the idea for l85, just saying 🙂 )
Also add different soldier skins eg SCO19 or SAS, GROM, KSK, FSB

A game cloned from the splendid m&m clash of heroes would be a success. Match troops and turn based strategy. 🙂 focus on campaigns ie single player. Create tournaments for mp and skip base invasions.
Also a suggestion is a on-rail shooter – seem perfect for the iPad and has not been done well apart from recent wh.

I prefer a military game(etc.USSOCOM & UKSF against terrorism)rather than a SWAT one.
